Abstract

The resurgence of fowl typhoid in Brazil has been reported in the last seven years. Although underreporting of the cases occurred, it is known that the disease is present throughout the national territory and when there was a notification, cases more than doubled over the years. These bacteria are of great importance for poultry production and the understanding of the factors associated with the disease spread in avian production is necessary in order to delimit the necessary points for prevention and control. It is known that thermal stress causes an immunological deficiency in animals, which can act as a factor associated with the occurrence of diseases in commercial lots in Brazil because it is a country with a predominantly hot climate. This project aims to evaluate the effects of flow typhoid in commercial birds submitted to the thermal stress process. (AU)
