Abstract

This work aims to relate the group Dzi Croquettes, which emerged in Rio de Janeiro in the 1970s, with the work of Paul Beatriz Preciado "Contrassexual Manifesto", published in 2002. For this, will be used the records made by Rosemary Lobert in her thesis "The magic word Dzi: a difficult answer to ask" of 1979, in which the author recorded the play "Dzi Croquettes: gente computada como você", the lifestyle and the actor's relationship with their fans. This project seeks to understand the work and sociocultural impact of the group for their time, taking into account the studies on gender and sexuality that have been produced in recent years. The objective is to elucidate the break of gender borders that the group has done, taking into account studies about gender and sexuality done in the last years, as Preciado.(AU)
