Abstract

In this postdoctoral fellowship we aim to investigate several aspects sound-light interaction in optical microcavites. On one hand the candidate will explore theoretical and experimental aspects of the interaction between optical and mechanical modes in waveguides and microcavites, including novel Lithium Niobate devices, helping PhD and Ms students towards the the goals BOM-1, BOM- 2, and LNOM-1 of the main project.
