Abstract

In this project, of a theoretical and conceptual framework, we propose an investigation of the works of Franco-Hungarian philosopher Georges Politzer (1903-1942), in order to examine the role of the concept of drama in his criticism of the psychological sciences of his time. To this end, we will read, interpret and discuss his works, paying special attention to the book "Criticism of the Foundations of Psychology" (1928/1998), in which Politzer, supported by the reading of "The Interpretation of Dreams" (Freud, 1900). / 1972), weaves his critique of psychoanalysis and classical psychology. Our goal is to understand how the concept of drama comes to be the articulating element of this critique. We divided our research material into primary and secondary bibliography, covering, respectively, Politzer's writings in which the drama is thematized, and the commentators of his work. Our activities will be carried out within parameters pertinent to theoretical and conceptual studies in psychology. The research includes a program readings, annotations and interpretative synthesis, as well as the elaboration of reports and presentation of the results in scientific events.
