Abstract

The present study was to evaluate the release of Bisphenol A from the orthodontic resin adhesive system (Transbond XT), as well as orthodontic band adhesive (Transbond Plus Light Cure Band), both used in the cementation of the modified Haas Breaker for mixed dentition, in 20 patients between 6 and 12 years, with indication for orthodontic treatment through rapid maxillary expansion. The in vivo study will be performed in which saliva samples will be collected in 5 times: before, 30 minutes, 24 hours, 1 week and 1 month after the cementation of the modified Haas circuit breaker. The analyzes will be done by UHPLC-MS/MS method.
