Abstract

Will be installed traps consisting of two wires containing entomological glue, encircling the trunk at a height of one meter, with a spacing of 10 cm between each wire, so that the upper wire intercepts the falling mites and the lower one the ones that are rising. This device should remain in some trees during the day, while in others during the night. Samples will also be collected using soil leaves and treetops. All sampled mites will be organized and identified at a family level. Mesostigmatists should be identified by species or morphospecies. Thus, it is expected to characterize the mite fauna in both environments (soil and canopy tree) and to verify if the migration is occurring, and what are the species that move between soil and tree canopy.
