Abstract West Paulista has, for decades, suffered a process of deforestation through the expansion of agricultural activities on areas of natural vegetation cover such as the Atlantic Forest and Cerrados. Such practices cause different forms of environmental degradation in large territorial extensions, interfering and altering the landscapes. Processes of land occupation without adequate planning and management for soil have resulted in serious problems of linear erosion throughout history. In this way, the main objective of this project is to study the training of erosive processes that took place at the "São José" site, in Caiabu, in order to apply alternative methods of linear erosion control recommended by EMBRAPA (1997), using busbars. built with bamboo and raffia bags. To this end, field work must be carried out to identify records and collect samples of solutions in degraded areas and gradual laboratory analyzes. The work will be carried out in partnership with the rural owner, whose objective is to promote and recover the recovery of degraded areas with the adjacent ones. (AU) | |
