Abstract

Different dimensions of life can be affected by the condition of being LGBT +. But the project focuses on one of the fundamental dimensions of human life, which is health. Thus, the present project arises from the pressing need to understand health services from the experience of a social segment invisible by Brazilian society: the LGBTI + population (Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transvestites, Transgenders and Intersexuals), with the central objective of understanding public health policies aimed at the LGBTI + population in the municipality of Presidente Prudente, considering the articulation of these policies in different spheres, with the concern to understand the access of these people within health services. Expressed this, we base our research on Qualitative Methodology aiming at the possibility of capturing narratives of LGBT + people in view of the accessibility to the health of these people, about the dimensions, causalities, contradictions and qualities.
