Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the nurses' perception regarding the organization and assistance of Primary Health Care in coping with Covid-19. It is an exploratory and descriptive field research, using quantitative variables to collect data on the object of the study. This study will be carried out in 12 Basic Health Units and 22 Family Health Teams in São Carlos-SP. The research population will consist of 12 nurses from Basic Health Units and 22 nurses from the Family Health Strategies, who agree to participate in the study. The data will be collected through a questionnaire self-answered by the participants. The instrument for data collection will be built based on the Coronavirus Clinical Management Protocol (Covid-19) in Primary Health Care. The collected data will be inserted in a database built in the Excel Program. Initially, the descriptive analysis of the data will be performed, and, later, the inferential statistical analysis. The data will be transported to Program R, where t-tests will be performed to compare means and chi-square tests to study the association with categorical data. For all comparisons, a significance level of 5% will be adopted. As for ethical aspects, the project will be sent to the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of São Carlos for consideration. (AU)
