Abstract

Objective: To verify the contributions of using the "blindfolded" technique in clinical simulation in the verbal communication of nursing students in situations of care for critical patients. Method: Step 1: the simulated clinical scenarios based on Bloom's Taxonomy will be constructed, structured according to Fabri et al. and the American Heart Association Guidelines. In step 2, the validation of the evaluation checklist of participants in the simulated clinical scenario will take place through experts. In step 3, it is intended to develop and offer undergraduate nursing students a free workshop on nursing care for patients in critical situations. There will be the application of a written pre-test checklist on knowledge, skills and attitudes in cardiopulmonary resuscitation of adult patients and application of the scale "Self-confidence Scale (SCE)", Portuguese version (SCSvp). After the students will be trained through a theoretical class on Basic Support and Advanced Life Support according to the American Heart Association, after participating in a cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills training. Simulated clinical scenarios will be developed with different clinical cases that will evolve into hemodynamic instability and patient's cardiorespiratory arrest using the blindfolded technique with the participants. , skills and attitudes in cardiopulmonary resuscitation of adult patients and the "Self-confidence Scale". We will seek to summarize and organize the data obtained through statistical analysis.
