Abstract

Traditionally, Konstantin Stanislavski's last period of life (1935 - 1938) is considered a sinthesizing period of his research. Some evidence found in a recent research in the Moscow Art Theatre Museum's Archive, though, allow us to think that this last period of life and work was something beyond: a new radical and paradigmatic change planned by Stanislavski himself in his last years, a change that was never concluded. This doctoral fellowishio project presents, justifies and exposes a working schedule for the research "A theatre with moving walls: Stanislavski's last and unifnished revolution", being currently conducted at the Graduate Theatre Studies Program, at the School for Communicayions and Arts, at the University of São Paulo.
