Abstract

A moral dilemma is a conflict of obligations in which a person is obliged to carry out (at least) two distinct and equally priority actions, but is unable to carry them out at the same time. This project aims to offer to the student an introduction to the philosophical problems involving moral dilemmas through the intersection between discussions about the nature of moral responsibility, including the principle of 'ought' implies 'can' and the Frankfurt-style scenarios.
