| Associated research grant: | 17/12105-2 - Fenomics of fetal programming effects on beef cattle production: a systemic approach, AP.JP |
Abstract : Fetal programming (FP) can affect the development of animals throughout their lives. This nutritional stimulus has been studied in beef cattle and can cause differences that impact their production systems. Characteristics such as reproductive performance are of great importance for the selection of animals for both genetic improvement and for animals to be slaughtered. The fellow to be selected will perform activities related to obtaining and analyzing phenotypic data. This study is a good opportunity to include students in research and thus encourage the scientific development of these students through this project. | |
