Abstract

This project aims to explore the coincidence degree theory for perturbations of Fredholm linear operators, in order to apply it to the study of periodicity of solutions of functional differential equations that can be reduced to an operator equation of the type Lx = Nx in a certain subset O of a Banach space X, where L is a Fredholm linear operator of index zero and N is a L-compact mapping.
