Abstract

This work aims to analyze the impacts of the inclusion of themes associated with the study of astrophysics of galaxies in physics teaching and scientific dissemination activities. Based on the analysis of the historical development of structured scientific knowledge about galaxies and an extensive bibliographic survey on physics concepts related to these celestial bodies, scientific dissemination activities on this subjetct will be initially structured and carried out by the student, under the guidance of the professor proposing this project. The impacts of these scientific dissemination activities will be investigated, using questionnaires and other structured instruments to be able to analyze the diversity of issues involved. The experience with scientific dissemination activities will make it possible to structure didactic scripts for teaching physics activities on the study of galaxies that will be used and evaluated in didactic workshops. These activities will be implemented in different contexts and for different student audiences and their consequences, with regard to the learning developed about physics concepts and about the methods used by science to produce knowledge, will be characterized, quantified, analyzed and evaluated.
