The proposed research project aims at the evaluation of possible experiments using the techniques of quantum optics on the Sirius Synchrotron facility. We will study the distinct beamlines, both installed and under commission, considering their application. For instance, in one commissioned beamline the orbital angular momentum of the radiation can be controlled, what opens relevant possibilities for experiments in quantum imaging and their eventual application. This proposal is part of a long term project that our lab is starting. The first results should be purely theoretical, with the proposal of experiments that should be implemented inn the mid-term. The student should perform experiments in our lab as a complementary task, that will demonstrate some of the techniques that will be adapted for application with X-ray. (AU)
