Abstract

Contemporaneously, the technology started to be introduced intensely in daily life, bring benefits and harms. It is in the understanding of these harms that the present project is inserted aiming to explore aspects related to Technostress, a terms first presented in 1984 as a modern adaptation pathology caused by the inability of individuals to deal with new technologies in a health way, presenting a series of biological, behavioral, psychological and social characteristics and consequences. Bearing in mind that university students are in constant contact with the most diverse technological forms and dealing with people, essential points for stress to the detriment of technology, this research aims to identify and evaluate technostress indicators in university students, as well as possible variables that influence this condition and its consequences. For this, nine matriculate students in the areas of exact and Applied Social Sciences, Human Sciences and Biological and Health Sciences will be invited. The data collection will happen thought an individual interview that will follow a semi-structured scrip containing questions aimed at understandings the relationship that the interviewee establishes with the technology, as well as using two instruments, being them, a Participant Characterization Form and the Quality of Life Inventory (WHOWOL- bref). The verbal reports will be transcribed and categorized for content analysis, as well as instrument data will be analyzed qualitatively.
