Abstract

The aim of the work will be to evaluate the efficiency of different types of ozone therapy, intraperitoneal insufflation and local subcutaneous insufflation in the repair of skin wounds in rats. The experiment will use 48 male rats (Rattus novergicus albinus Wistar), of 6 months, who will be subjected to making skin wounds on the back and later subjected to treatment with ozone, or to control (without treatment). The animals will be divided into 4 groups: Subcutaneous control group (CONT-SUB), which will receive only the needle puncture, without administration of the therapy, subcutaneously, intraperitoneal control group (CONT-INT), which will receive only the needle puncture. , without administration of therapy, intraperitoneally, subcutaneous ozone group (OZ-SUB) that will receive ozone therapy in the concentration of 0.1 ml subcutaneously and intraperitoneal ozone group (OZ-INT), which will receive the same dose of ozone therapy via intreperitoneal. The animals will be euthanized 3 times, on the 4th, 7th and 14th postoperative day. The areas of interest corresponding to the wounds will be collected for histological and histometric analysis / inflammatory profile. All data will be submitted to the normality curve for choosing the best statistical test, considering p <0.05. (AU)
