Abstract Supported by the recurrence of relations between Brazilian cultural policies specifically those of heritage concern, and experiences of French origin, the research project indicates possibilities to search and problematize an initiative created at the municipal level and which works with the issue of memory. It refers to São Paulo's capital's Jornada do Patrimônio, an experience that will become the object of analysis from its idealization and modeling from 2013 until 2016, which includes its first editions in the city, in the biennium 2015-2016. Based on methodological foundations of recent historiographies, such as Public History and the Present Time one, this initiative will be understood by paying attention to the performance of its promoters and the profiling of actions, in order to document the interactions and recreations arising from the dialogue between the City Halls of São Paulo and Paris within the scope of this cultural policy aimed at the memory. | |
