Abstract

Anthropocene, a proposal for a new geological Epoch that attributes to anthropic action, commonly linked to the big capital, the intense and often irreversible transformations in environmental goods. Specifically on soils, in this context of an exclusive society on the one hand and highly technified on the other, in addition to natural factors of formation, anthropo-pedogenesis stands out, which results in volumes of materials that are very different from the original features: the Anthroposols. It is believed that this recent classification, although it was a notable advance in Brazil, allows for contributions such as the possibility of attributing to the harmful accelerated erosive processes the formation of the Suborder of the Decapitics. In this sense, the general objective of this work is to classify possible Anthroposols in an area heavily degraded by water erosion in the APA do Timburi, located in the municipality of Presidente Prudente/SP, and to implement bioengineering techniques for the recovery of these areas. For that, land use maps will be made; collecting soil samples for routine physical and chemical analyzes; morphological description; classification of possible Anthroposols and implementation of bioengineering techniques to recover four areas heavily degraded by ravines. This work is expected to contribute to the discussion on Anthroposols in the context of the Anthropocene and to promote effective action to recover the ecosystem functions of the soil and, consequently, of water, vegetation, and population.
