Abstract An interesting way of investigating the foundations of quantum theory is by means of the correlations allowed by it between the results of measurements performed on space-like separated systems. Such correlations my present a nonclassical phenomenon known as Bell nonlocality, but, interestingly, the set of nonlocal correlations allowed by quantum theory is very specific and special. There is a set of correlations, slightly greater than the quantum one, known as the set of almost quantum correlations, that shows similarities and differences with the set of quantum correlations. The main goal of this project is to investigate such similarities and differences. | |
