Abstract

Given the intensification of argumentative practices on digital platforms, among which some sub-cultural forums have a leading role, the aim of this project is to articulate both the discourse-historical approach of the critical discourse analysis and the theory of argumentation to examine the argumentative forms of legitimization and critique of political-ideological theses in a affluent digital community, in order to understand both the structuring of such discursivity and the strategies of persuasion and of justificatory consistency that characterise the debate in the aforementioned platforms.
