Abstract

This fellow will work on the identification of epigenomic alteration in tumor samples harboring IDH1/2 mutation. This person will use public data and open source R/bioconductor tools to map the shared and/or tissue-specific epigenetic changes associated with mutations in IDH1/2 genes across different tumor types. This study will contribute to uncovering the mechanisms that lead to the deregulation of global DNA methylation and its clinical implications.
