Abstract

The search for humanized obstetric care and the use of Integrative and Complementary Practices (PIC) by the multidisciplinary team of the Unified Health System (SUS) has been increasingly increasing, aiming at the humanization of care and comprehensive care for women in the cycle gravid-puerperal. Objective: To explore and map the scientific literature related to PIC in the care of women during the pregnancy-puerperal cycle in SUS, also considering the context of the pandemic COVID 19. Methods: This is a scoping review (outline review), outlined according to the recommendations of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). The PCC strategy (Population, Concept and Context) and the following guiding question will be used: "How does the provision of PIC in the care of women in the postpartum pregnancy cycle take place in the context of SUS, also considering the context of the pandemic COVID 19?". The search will be carried out on national and international platforms, the data from the studies will be organized and analyzed according to the thematic content analysis, in the light of the referentials of integrality and SUS health policies. Expected results: From the present review, in view of the mapping and the scientific evidence identified, it is expected to contribute to the safe and effective use of these therapeutic approaches and, consequently, to public health policies, with a view to the humanization and comprehensiveness of care obstetric.
