Abstract

This project intends to produce a scientific journalism text based on the article "Infinite systems of interacting chains with memory of variable length - a stochastic model for biological neural nets" by Antonio Galves and Eva Locherbach, CEPID NeuroMat researchers, which was published in 2013. The main purpose is to transpose the contribution of research to a journalistic language, acting, therefore, in the scope of scientific divulgation. For basing this project, concepts from semiotics (Saussure) and scientific culture (Vogt) were used. (AU)
