Abstract

The so-called marginal inclusion gained strength with the advent of Information Technologies (IT) or Digital Platforms, and the creation of several application companies, which started as startups and are now considered the largest employers in Brazil. In this scenario, the precariousness of work took place in many ways and, to understand the case of iFood in Presidente Prudente, empirical research is needed that will show us, in addition to the current situation of unprotection and risks to workers' health, such as the effect of the pandemic. the COVID-19 will influence the reality experienced by motofretistas or delivery men, demarcating new territories of control; environment of a systemic degradation of work, concrete expression of the domain of algorithms, of digital command, the object of the Geography of work. We will seek to understand the facets of total outsourcing and platforming which, together, impose the magnitude and consequences of the dismantling of protective rights, which takes the initial steps in Presidente Prudente.
