Abstract

This project analyzes the ergodic theory for continuous linear operators in Banach space. The non-compactness of the Banach space does not allow the use of classic tools and therefore imposes new challenges. The idea is to seek to characterize invariant measures for linear operators, as well as understant it for important cases such as weighted shifts. (AU)
