Abstract

The present study aims to analyze the materiality of the reoccupations of tombs of elite members of ancient Egyptian society (3000 BC - 30 BC) from information on the burials of the Theban necropolis TT 32, TT 49, TT 99, TT 400 and MIDAN 05. In a second step, the research seeks to relate this information to the Egyptian objects in the MAB-UNASP collection. We intend to understand the phenomenon of tomb reoccupations in the Valley of Nobles through the search for patterns and connections of the materiality of these contexts. We also aim to review and systematize the technical information of the objects in the MAB-UNASP collection that will be addressed in the study. We will develop our analysis by crossing data using systematized forms in the FileMaker application, together with reading excavation reports and other studies dealing with the concepts and problems handled here.
