Abstract

The objective of this research is to map and analyze processes that produce the belonging of LGBTI+ people in Brazilian public universities from the record of their experiences inthese spaces, highlighting the importance of the bonds built in these processes and the permanence in the university. To achieve this goal, we will use qualitative research as a reference in the production and approach of data processing and also the cartographic method inspired by Deleuze and Guatarri. First, we will map the 3 public universities with which we will work, and such universities should have some kind of affirmative action aimed at the LGBTI + population. From this, we will get in touch with LGBTI + members from these universities to build 2 focus groups with 6 participants each, with meetings that will take place on platforms like Google, and also conduct 5 in-depth interviews. The data analysis will be carried out with the theoretical contributions indicated and bibliography on the university context and affirmative actions from feminist and queer theoretical perspectives.
