Abstract

This research project intends to describe and analyze the relation between affectivity, race, and gender in the Coletivo de Mulheres Negras Sueli Carneiro (Sueli Carneiro Black Women Collective), understanding how racism and sexism influence these affectivities. Through participant observation in online meetings and interviews, it will be possible to apprehend how black women's representations in the popular imagery affect their affective-sexual relationships and which images of themselves and of the collective are created and shared.
