Abstract

This research aims to determine the status of the real in the thought of Gilles Deleuze. With the realistic reception of the Deleuzian work as a horizon, there are three axes that should guide our work. Firstly, it is a question of assessing how the "correlationist" problem proposed by Quentin Meillassoux, the controversial nucleus of the "realist turn" in 21st century philosophy, can be related to difficulties that Deleuze himself faces. Second, it is a question of determining to what extent the Deleuzian concept of transcendental empiricism is oriented towards realism, that is, destined to overcome the critical prohibition of thinking about reality beyond human conditions, structures and limits of access. Finally, it is expected to operate a comparison of the results obtained with the literature around realism in Deleuzian philosophy.
