Abstract

Although the literature on illegal markets is extensive, it is still marked by normative approaches that link illegalities to lack of economic or urban development. In addition, there are few empirical studies of how empirical studies on how these markets function in everyday life. This front of research on the Port of Santos aims to investigate the relationship between urban "centers" and "margins," analyzing the journey of cars and cocaine in cocaine in Latin America's largest port. The objective of this CI is to contribute to the development of this front of the research through participation in all stages of the research, contributing with the team of more experienced researchers.
