Abstract

Despite recent racial quota policies, the permanence of black students in educationpublic superior is far from assured. Black students often face experiences of discrimination and prejudice in educational institutionshigher. Therefore, to ensure conditions of permanence and qualification of black students, it is necessary to investigate mechanisms that support their trajectory and flourishing in the academic environment.The contribution of this research project is to incorporate the investigation of family experiences in relation to the academic trajectory of black students, in the context of the intensification of distance education (EAD) as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic scenario.
