Abstract This project is an introduction to Special Relativity and Cosmology including the possibility of Lorentz Invariance Violation (LIV). The student will understand the fundamentals of Special Relativity and Cosmology in a context beyond usually taught in introductory courses in the under-graduation. After learning the basics, the student will calculate the time delay of two photons with different energies in an expanding Universe. This knowledge will pave the road for graduate studies on the possibility to detect LIV with CTA.(AU) | |
