Paulo State, AP.TEM |
Abstract Solanum violifolium, a creeping solanaceous ornamental is susceptible in nature to three Bravipalpus mite-transmitted viruses (BTV), respectively the cileviruses Solanum violifolium ringspot and Passion fruit green spot, and the dichorhavirus Cestrum ringspot. Being an herbaceous plant, easily cultivated and maintained, constitutes a suitable experimental model to study the interaction among these viruses in mixed infections, a facet little explored so far, in studies involving BTV. Evaluation of symptom expression, interference, cytopathology, and neurotransmission in single, double, and triple infection of these VTB will be made.(AU) | |
