Abstract

Spectrum scarcity and the demand for greater data transfer capacity motivate research for new spectrum bands, especially in millimeter waves. In the ISM frequency range from 57 to 66 GHz, it has been explored to offer high data transmission rates, in addition to providing certain advantages such as frequency reuse and spatial isolation, for instance. This scientific initiation work aims at the design, optimization, construction, and characterization of Hairpin filters and Interdigital filters on the alumina interposer substrate, with copper nanowires operating in the range 57 to 66GHz.
