Abstract

This project is part of the Master's Research, funded by FAPESP (nº 2021/01774-6), entitled "The Exploratory Factor Analysis (AFE) and the Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) in the mapping of areas with socio-environmental vulnerabilities to hydrogeological risks: the study of mass movements in Rio Claro - RJ", which is proposing an internship of 6 (six) months at the Center for Geography and Spatial Planning Studies (CEGOT), linked to the University of Coimbra (UC) - Portugal. The objective of the research internship is to carry out analyzes through literature review and fieldwork of studies carried out by CEGOT, especially under the coordination of Prof. Lúcio Cunha, who have used similar methodologies, in order to contribute to the new theoretical-methodological deepening of this research, in addition to the analysis of the form of data integration by the factor analysis method and the results obtained by mapping the risk areas, thus improving , the researcher's analytical look at studies in Brazilian areas.
