Abstract

This scientific initiation research proposal aims to recover and record the history of the industrialization of Architecture and Industrial Design in Brazil, relating it to its concurrent Project teaching practice at the Architecture and Urbanism College of the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP) between the years 1962 and 2022. Through a bibliographic review, survey, and analysis of the institutional documentation and interviews, the data and historical facts will be systematized in digital databases creating as a final result a historical synthesis of the FAUUSP's project teaching and its concomitant Brazilian political, economic, and social context related to the main theme of industrialization with focus on industrial design. That information will be useful to the establishment of structured recording practice, identification of emergent themes and challenges faced in the past to promote continuous speculation about the pedagogical practices carried out on FAUUSP and its articulation through the research development in the industrialization field made by the professors linked to the Industrialization Laboratory (LabIndus) of FAUUSP.(AU)
