Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify, present and discuss aspects of Mathematics Education in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations, based on a study in a field education, located in the Northwest of the State of Rio Grande do Sul /Brazil. The theoretical contribution takes into account aspects of Mathematics Education, especially Critical Mathematics Education and Ethnomathematics. Therefore, the methodological approach of qualitative research is adopted, which considers content analysis methods for the categorization of data and results. It is expected that the research will contribute to studies on Mathematics Education and rural school, in addition to corroborating relationships of mathematical content for democratic and citizen living, as well as for improving the quality of life and sustainability, whether social, economic or environmental issues.
