Abstract

This work aims to analyze the context and impacts of the insertion of topics related to Astrobiology in physics teaching and scientific dissemination activities. Based on the analysis of the development of studies, in the last decades, on the possibility of the existence of life outside Earth and a vigorous bibliographic survey on scientific concepts related to the area of Astrobiology, scientific dissemination activities on this topic will be initially structured and carried out, by the student, under the guidance of the proponent professor of this project. The ramifications of these actions, as well as the conceptions of the participants in them, will be investigated, through questionnaires, for example. The experience gained from scientific dissemination activities will enable the elaboration of didactic scripts on Astrobiology with interdisciplinary characteristics for the teaching of physics, which will be used, tested and analyzed in teaching-learning situations, such as in didactic workshops. These activities will be implemented for different student audiences and their developments will be characterized, quantified and evaluated, with regard to the learning developed mainly about the methods used by science to face problems and produce knowledge. This project can be carried out by remote means, whenever necessary due to the COVID-19 pandemic.(AU)
