Abstract

The present project aims at introducing the student to the study of Lie algebras endowed with an ad-invariant metric. Through the involvement in this project and starting from the tools acquired during the undergraduate courses, the student will enlarge his knowledge of algebraic structures. In addition, he will develop his competencies in mathematical research by the study of bibliography on the topic and calculations in basic examples.(AU)
