Abstract

The objective of this project is to use metabolic networks built from experiments of gene expression as to obtain possible differentially expressed metabolic pathways, so we can better comprehend the workings of the metabolism of the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus, that has been acquiring resistance to fungicides like Caspofungin. The construction of the networks will use algorithms already described in the literature as valid for the obtention of metabolic pathways in other organisms. Topological patterns in these networks that can allow us to comprehend and classify them based on biological functions will be searched.
