Abstract The present research project aims to document and analyze the life story of a black woman in the interior of São Paulo who played a fundamental role in the social, economic and cultural construction of the city, especially in the issue of confronting inequalities and situations of inequality that reached the majority of the black population. It seeks to contribute to the production of materials for the local heritage from the narrative of subjects silenced by official history. What are the effects of excluding the memory and culture of the black population as a heritage? Consider the answer to the advancement of studies that have as important elements the focus on ethnic-racial relations in Brazil and the construction of representations. The research is based on a methodological dialogue of oral history with a decolonial theoretical perspective, which is the question of the uniqueness of the production of knowledge centered on Europe and other perspectives and learning. It is expected to contribute to the production of knowledge that makes it possible to organize teaching materials and reuse spaces as an Afro reference center in the municipality of Cordeirópolis. | |
