Abstract

The statistical study of networks has been increasing in the last years. In neuroscience, networks are applied to describe interactions between brain regions. When these interactions describe intracerebral and intercerebral connections for different individuals is not appropriate to represent this data using a single network. In this case, it is appropriate to model the data using multilayer networks in order to describe intralayer and interlayer connections. In this project, we propose to study the applications of multilayer networks to analyze data obtained from functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).
