Abstract

The harmful effects of the new work conformations in the hospital context on the workers' health, organizational aspects, and patient safety indicate the need for interventions to transform this reality. The Labor of Change (CL), a method that proposes chances of the work activity from the expansive learning and development of the transformative agency has been showing itself as a powerful strategy in this sense. Data from a thematic project between Brazil and France show advances in the transformation of the activity in the French hospital context, from the health workers' agency. In this sense, this project aims to analyze the transformations at work from the expansive learning and transformative agency of workers in the French hospital context. We propose to follow the study developing in the Polivalent Surgical Resuscitation unit of the Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital, which is part of the Paris Public Hospital Care. The proposal involves the analysis of data previously collected in CH sessions (interviews, field observations, and documentary analysis) and the collection of new data through the follow-up of CL. The data will be analyzed using the thematic content analysis technique and interpreted considering the conceptual framework of expansive learning and transformative agency proposed in the CL. (AU)
