Abstract

Digital transformation has revolutionized business in recent years, combined with the use of enabling technologies (internet of things, artificial intelligence, among others), impacting the way business is done and managed, imposing new challenges for managers and professionals. In this context of changes, innovative entrepreneurship initiatives emerge as new business models, and require attention in their management, aiming at the success of these projects. This research project proposes to carry out a study on the themes of innovative entrepreneurship and digital transformation. It aims to analyze how innovative entrepreneurship is characterized in the context of digital transformation projects. The method will involve the first step of literature review, to understand the concepts and their connections, as well as a second step with a field study, to understand the topic in a practical context, through an exploratory case study. As a result, it is expected to obtain a better understanding of the concept of innovative entrepreneurship applied to digital transformation, both from the perspective of the literature and in the organizational reality, giving directions for the potential increase of innovation in organizations, as well as generating insights for future studies.
