Abstract

The project to which the scholarship is linked is CeMEAI, Center for Mathematical Sciences Applied to Industry. Relevant activities of CeMEAI are the Modeling School and the Workshop on Industrial Problems. The student must actively participate in both of these activities to experience the work that CeMEAI carries out to fulfill its objectives of applying knowledge in Mathematical Sciences in the productive sector. In the rest of the time, the scholarship holder must dedicate himself to the study of the FEniCS software aiming at the simulation of fluid-structure interaction, in the application of monolithic formulations for the study of synthetic and/or biological micro swimmers.
