Abstract

In a complementary way to my scientific initiation research (n.21/03932-8), this project aims to present a BEPE proposal to be carried out under the supervision of Prof. Doc. Daniel dos Santos Cardoso (CICANT/Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa). Starting from the transdisciplinarity between Sociology and the Communication Sciences, the objective of this investigation is to ethnograph and to qualitatively analyze the bond between the artistic production and the creation of subjectivities common to Portuguese trans* bodies. More specifically, it's intended to (1) ethnograph the dynamics and the perceptions woven in collective spaces occupied by this population; (2) to conduct interviews with trans* artists; and (3) identify, based on the Thematic Analysis method and with the usage of the NVivo Release 1.7 software, how the artistic productions relate to their ways of being in this local area of Difference. As a consequence, in return to the national activities, the research will enable a subsequent comparison between the Brazilian and the Portuguese contexts. In this sense, the internship will guarantee the internalization and complexification of the ongoing research, as well as an immersion and dialogue between the aforementioned scientific areas. (AU)
