Abstract

This research project aims at optimizing the performance of the (hp) 2 FEM program to solve structural problems using the high order finite element method in a cluster with ARM processors. Given the restructuring processes that are taking place in the program, the customization of the GID program for data pre- and post-processing must be reformulated to generate input files and result visualization. HDF5 format for results storage will also be incorporated to (hp)2 FEM. Performance tests will be made for new versions of the parallel procedure in a ARM cluster using suitable tools. Modifications will be proposed to improve the performance of the (hp)2FEM program;
