Abstract

Early life stress exposure is known to be associated with a change in neurodevelopment trajectories. Studies have shown an effect in a postnatal time window, through the direct child-environment interaction, but also in a prenatal setting, with the mother mediating the stress effect on the developing child. The stress effect in a preconception setting is yet understood. This study aims to investigate the scnRNA expression pattern in human sperm given stress measures changes and trauma. Understanding this dynamic could lead to a characterization of the germline's environment response and its adaptive effect on a child's development and neurodevelopment. (AU)
